In December 2003 Deseret Hospital moved completely to its present location. The new facility is completed but not fully furnished – it has 28 beds but 14 are in active use. The facility is everything patients and their families might need. Our dedicated staff provides excellent clinical care to patients and their families in a great environment. When our patients feel good, we also feel good. By meticulous, diligent and hard work like the honey bee Deseret Hospital has worked to improve the quality of life for the community in Ghana.

We have collaborated with many volunteers and organizations to make healthcare affordable for our community and bordering towns. Deseret Hospital has provided patient services and non-patient activities since its beginning. Our physicians, nurses and other caregivers are excellent in all women’s needs including labor and delivery, and preventive care. Our in-patient services including nursing care, diagnostic tests, pharmaceuticals and supplies have been of great help to the community, so has our related healthcare services including donations, health insurance premiums and other resources. As part of our ongoing community commitment, we provide Charity Services to qualifying patients unable to pay.
